About us: Based in beautiful Whanganui Te Oranganui is a kaupapa Māori organisation who offers a range of health and wellbeing services for whānau in the Whanganui region and surrounding districts. 

Te Puawai Whānau service is underpinned by a Whānau Ora approach that places children and their whānau at the centre of all that we do. Our aim is to enhance the parenting journey for all whānau with a commitment to value our relationship and connections; supporting whānau aspirations.

About the role: This role focuses on building whānau to achieve outcomes and work with their tamariki to have the best start in life. This role works across health, education, justice and social outcome domains.

Kaimahi are to maintain a clear focus on the child’s health and wellbeing, including the adequacy of care, their physical health, emotional health and age appropriate development.

This role also supports whānau with opportunities, pathways and tools that develop the potential of whānau and support them on their journey towards self-managing their health and wellbeing.  The ideal outcomes for whānau enrolled with this programme are thatWhānau are:
